Cancellation and Refund Policy
This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all event registrations made through the official ROBOFEST website. By registering for any event, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Policy
• All registrations made through the ROBOFEST website are final and non-refundable.
• ROBOFEST does not allow cancellations or changes to event registrations once payment is completed.
• Participants are advised to carefully review event details before registering.
2. No-Show Policy
• If a participant fails to attend a registered event for any reason, the registration fee will not be refunded.
• ROBOFEST is not responsible for personal scheduling conflicts, travel issues, or other participant-side factors that may prevent attendance.
3. Valid Refund Scenarios
Refunds will be considered only under the following circumstances:
• The event is cancelled by ROBOFEST organizers.
• Duplicate payments have been made due to a technical error.
• The participant was charged but the registration was not confirmed due to a system failure.
In such cases:
• A formal request must be submitted to the organizing committee within 48 hours of the transaction.
• The participant must provide valid proof of payment (transaction ID, Razorpay confirmation, etc.).
4. Refund Process
• Refund requests should be sent to isdlab@srmist.edu.in with the subject line: "Refund Request - [Event Name]".
• Each request will be reviewed and verified by the finance/registration team.
• If approved, refunds will be processed via Razorpay to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
• Refunds will not be issued in cash or to alternate accounts.
5. Event Changes or Rescheduling
• In case an event is rescheduled (not cancelled), existing registrations will remain valid for the new date/time.
• Refunds will not be issued for scheduling changes unless the participant is unable to attend and formally notifies the team within 24 hours of the change announcement.
6. Disqualification and Rule Violations
• Participants disqualified due to violation of event rules, misconduct, or fraudulent behavior will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstance.
